Bobby Soper graduated magna cum laude with a BBA in Economics from the University of Georgia in 1994 prior to graduating with honors from the University of Georgia School of Law. After graduation, Soper served as senior counsel for the Mohegan Tribe of Indians in Connecticut.

Bobby Soper first entered the field of gaming in 1997 – the year he accepted the position of Legal Counsel with The Mohegan Indian Tribe. Soper’s hard work and leadership skill quickly caught the eye of Tribal leaders, who appointed him to the position of Mohegan Sun Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer in 2001. From there, Bobby Soper enjoyed appointments to such prominent positions as President and CEO of Mohegan Sun Pocono (2005), President and CEO of Mohegan Sun (2012) and President and CEO of the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority (2015).
